<image:title>Articles & Resources - Playing Well With Others.</image:title>
<image:caption>Whether you're a trembling novice or a jaded expert, there's always something new to be discovered in the endlessly changing, complex and titillating world of kink. While there are plenty of other books out there that explain how to give a spanking or tie a half-hitch, Playing Well With Others is the first book that explains kink *culture* -- the munches, parties, leather bars, conferences, workshops, fetish nights, exploratoriums and all the other gatherings of kinksters that turn BDSM and leather from a bedroom predilection to a lifestyle and a community.</image:caption>

<image:title>Articles & Resources - Sex-Positive Social Work</image:title>
<image:caption>Social workers engage with sex and sexuality in all kinds of practice settings and with a variety of client populations. However, conversations about healthy sexuality and sexual well-being are all but absent from social work literature, education, and practice. Many social work professionals have internalized sociocultural taboos about talking about sexuality and tend to avoid the topic in their practice. This book provides an overview of key sexuality-related topics for social workers from a sex-positive perspective, which encourages agency in sexual decision making and embraces consensual sexual activity as healthy and to be enjoyed without stigma or shame. It discusses a wide range of topics including physiology, sexual and gender identity, sex in older adulthood, BDSM and kink; nonmonogamous and polyamorous relationships, and ethical considerations, including erotic transference. The book is designed to embolden social workers to engage discussions of sexuality with clients and to provide an opportunity for self-reflection and professional growth. Accessible to students as well as social workers and mental-health professionals at all levels, Sex-Positive Social Work emphasizes the relationship between sexual well-being and overall well-being, giving social workers the tools to approach sex and sexuality actively and positively with clients.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Are you in a relationship? Used to be? Want to be? Just want to have better sex or date better? This book is your antidote to typical sex, dating, and relationship rules. Dr. Faith, best-selling author of Unf*ck Your Brain, cuts through the crap with sharp guidelines on how to be a human being in an adult, loving, intimate relationship, with yourself and other people. If you're looking to heal from past wounds, make better choices, or improve an existing relationship, this book is for you!</image:caption>

<image:title>Articles & Resources - Sex at Dawn.</image:title>
<image:caption>Since Darwin's day, we've been told that sexual monogamy comes naturally to our species. Mainstream science - as well as religious and cultural institutions - has maintained that men and women evolved in families in which a man's possessions and protection were exchanged for a woman's fertility and fidelity. But this narrative is collapsing. Fewer and fewer couples are getting married, and divorce rates keep climbing as adultery and flagging libido drag down even seemingly solid marriages.</image:caption>

<image:title>Mental Health - Couples Therapy.</image:title>
<image:caption>This is often AJ’s wheel house: Sex-positive LGBTQIA and feminist-centered couples therapy and intimacy therapy create a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals and couples of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Couples come to me for a variety of reasons, perhaps communication breakdown has taken its toll, maybe trust has been broken, or alternatively, you want to deepen your connection and fall in love again. Whatever it is, I am here for it. I use techniques from Gottman therapy, developed by John and Julie Gottman, a couples therapy approach focused on improving communication, increasing empathy, and resolving conflicts in relationships. It aims to enhance intimacy, respect, and affection while helping couples build a deeper understanding of each other and their shared meaning. These approaches emphasize inclusivity and celebrate all identities while incorporating equitable principles that promote equality and dismantle traditional gender roles. This type of therapy advocates for open communication and mutual respect within relationships, normalizing diverse sexual experiences and expressions through a sex-positive lens that seeks to reduce shame or stigma around sexual issues. By adopting a holistic approach, the therapist can address the emotional, relational, and sexual interconnectedness of clients’ lives, fostering empowerment as couples express their needs, desires, and boundaries. Ultimately, the goal is to help build intimacy, improve communication, and cultivate healthy, fulfilling relationships that honor each partner's unique identities and experiences.</image:caption>

<image:title>Mental Health - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>Hope and healing are fundamental human needs that everyone deserves, regardless of their circumstances. In a world often filled with uncertainty and challenges, hope provides a guiding light, inspiring individuals to envision a better future. Healing, both emotional and physical, nurtures resilience and empowers people to overcome setbacks and trauma. Together, these vital elements foster a sense of community and belonging, reminding us that we can all embark on a journey toward self-improvement and a brighter tomorrow.</image:caption>
