What is Sex Positivity?

·         Open and Honest Communication: Sex positivity encourages individuals to engage in open and honest conversations about sexual desires, boundaries, and consent, promoting clear understanding and mutual respect in relationships.

·         Respect for Diversity: It recognizes and respects that people's sexual orientations, identities, and preferences can vary widely, celebrating this diversity as a natural part of human experience.

·         Informed Decision-Making: Sex positivity emphasizes the importance of education and informed consent, empowering individuals to make choices about their bodies and sexual health based on accurate information.

·         Healthy Relationships: It fosters the development of healthy, consensual, and responsible relationships, emphasizing mutual pleasure and respect rather than shame or judgment.

·         Holistic Well-Being: Acknowledging that sexual health is an essential component of overall well-being, sex positivity promotes emotional, mental, and physical health as interconnected aspects of a fulfilling life.

·         Challenging Stigmas: It actively seeks to challenge societal norms and stigmas surrounding sexuality, encouraging individuals to embrace their sexuality without fear of judgment or discrimination.

Puberty Classes

A sexual health puberty workshop is an engaging and informative program designed to educate adolescents about the physical, emotional, and social changes that occur during puberty. The workshop typically covers essential topics such as hormonal changes, reproductive health, body image, consent, and healthy relationships. Utilizing interactive activities, open discussions, and multimedia resources, facilitators create a safe and supportive atmosphere where young participants can ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another. By promoting accurate knowledge and open dialogue about sexuality and health, the workshop aims to empower adolescents to navigate this significant life stage with confidence, make informed decisions, and develop a positive understanding of their bodies and relationships. Ultimately, the goal is to foster a healthy attitude toward sexual health and wellbeing, equipping participants with the tools they need for a successful transition into adulthood.

Sexual Health Education Class

A sex-positive sexual health education workshop for high school students provides a comprehensive and open-minded approach to understanding sexuality, relationships, and personal wellbeing. This workshop goes beyond the basics of anatomy and reproduction to embrace topics such as consent, healthy relationships, LGBTQIA inclusivity, body positivity, and the importance of pleasure in sexual experiences. Through interactive discussions, engaging activities, and informative resources, students are encouraged to explore their values, challenge societal norms, and communicate openly about their feelings and experiences. The workshop fosters a safe and respectful environment, empowering participants to ask questions, share insights, and engage in meaningful conversations about their sexual health and choices. By emphasizing a positive, informed perspective on sexuality, the workshop aims to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions, cultivate healthy relationships, and embrace their identities in a supportive and accepting manner.

Diversity: Beyond the basics

LGBTQ+ people and people with alternative lifestyles are increasingly visible in the workplace, but studies have shown that these populations don’t always feel comfortable or sometimes even safe at work, creating higher turn around and less inclusive work enviroments. What to say and what not to say and why can be tricky for many who have had little to no education about these populations even if we work with them every day. This training creates a more positive work environment where everyone feels valued and respected and helps the company avoid sticky HR problems.

These training sessions are specifically tailored to your company's needs. Please allow 1-2 weeks of preparation time before the training. We have a team who comes in house to train or can do Zoom conference meetings! This package includes a Q & A panel at the end for half an hour which most teams have really appreciated the candid relaxed environment to ask tough questions and get honest direct answers.

The extended session includes role-playing and a small workshop at the end before the Q & A and the Q and A is 45 minutes long. This is ideal for groups of 15 or more.
